Finally got the monster off my back last week. Broke a 3 race losing streak now working on a 3 race winning streak, Daytona is tough though, never know what you're going to get.
Match-Ups (all lines from the greek/pre-qualifying)
1.00 unit Kyle Busch (-120) over Kevin Harvick
Going with consistent drivers with strong cars and Kyle makes the cut here. Everyone knows Gibbs teams are the best in this series and Kyle has done well at Daytona (4th, 2nd, 2nd and 1st the last 4 and has led the most laps in 3 of 5). Harvick has good history here but since he has been in his own equipment the last 3 races he has only finished 11th, 12th and 21st.
1.00 unit Dale Jr. (-125) over Carl Edwards
Jr has always been good on plate tracks and even though his Cup results have slipped he has been consistent in the NWS (5.8 avg last 6 @ Daytona). Even though Edwards is capable gonna go with Jr here.
1.00 unit Brian Vickers (+125) over Matt Kenseth
Vickers is an exception to my rule here, he has been inconsistent at Daytona (in last 6 starts does have finishes of 6th, 4th and 2nd but also has been 37th and 32nd). In 8 starts with Braun in '09 he has 6 Top 10's and an avg of 8.4. Ran 6th at Daytona in February.
1.00 unit Brendan Gaughan (+150) over Michael Waltrip
If Waltrip is good anywhere it would be at Daytona and Talladega, but at this price gonna give Gaughan a shot. Was 15th here in February.
1.00 Clint Bowyer (+115) over Kevin Harvick
Bowyer has been very good here( 5 Top 5's/6 Top 10's in 7 races) led the most laps here in February and finished 3rd

Hard enough picking match-ups here, have no interest in taking shots in the dark on a winner
